PLR Projects Private Limited started its modest journey in the year 1980 with firm commitment towards executing civil contracts. Over the period they continued to be consistent and steadfast in delivering world class quality, at the same time gaining capabilities in executing large size projects in domains such as Mining, Irrigation, Roads, Power Grids and Railways.
The company ventured in Irrigation projects taking up minor works, gradually it has gained sound experience in executing many irrigation projects in larger scale. One of the flagship projects has been PALAMURU-RANGAREDDY Lift Irrigation Scheme - (Package no.13) - Formation of Earthen Embankment of Kurumurthiraya Reseviour from K.M. 0.00 to K.M. 4.50 near Karvena (V), Boothpur (M), Mahabubnagar (D) and (Package no.2) - Formation of Anjanagiri Reserviour at Narlapur (V), Kollapur (M), Mahabubnagar (D).
In 1996, the company has explored into mining domain by acquiring hands on knowledge of operating a mine with limited HEMM, they have executed Over Burden removal and Mineral Excavation projects for state owned companies like Singerani Collieries Company
Andhra Pradesh Mineral Development Corporation (APMDC), Coal India and its subsidiaries and many other private Mining companies. Over the period the company has proven it self as stalwart in Mining industry.
In the year 2008, with an idea to widen their portfolio from civil and mining contracts, and to best utilise the infrastructure domain expertise, PLR has forayed into road building contracts. The company’s efforts to execute road projects has connected many disconnected destinations. PLR is now a pioneer in laying roads, in the last decade they have worked on 10 major routes of National Highways, State Highways and other ancillary works.
PLR has registered a turnover of about Rs. 700 Crores during FY 2017 – 18.
Global Presence
PLR has set its foot prints in Zambia by commissioning a Ferro Alloy plant with a production capacity of approximately 1000 MT per month, they have also initiated construction of a another 1000 MT plant to scale up the production.
