PLR has ventured into power transmission in the year 2010 with construction of 400 KV D/C transmission line from Bhilwara to Ajmer covering a distance of 160.181 KM for RRVPNL, similarly from Silchar to Imphal a 20 KM distance for PGCIL.
Internationally, they have executed power transmission projects in Zambia by engaging in construction of 66/11 kV Automation Substation including power transformer of 12.5 MVA (with SCADA operation) and 1 No terminal bay at ZESCO substation - Zambia electricity supply corporation Limited (ZESCO).

Currently, PLR is working on a construction of 132 KV S/C (on D/C tower) transmission line from Seppa to Rilo covering a distance of 56 KM for PGCIL and 132 KV S/C (on D/C tower) transmission line from Gerukamukh to Likabali covering a distance of 60 KM for PGCIL, along with a Substation construction 132/33 KV at Hathigat for TSTRANSCO.
In Zambia, the company is working extension of 66/11 KV Automation Substation including power transformer of 2X25 MVA capacity, control room with all control and switchgear equipment's (with SCADA operation) and 1 terminal bay at ZESCO substation, Zambia electricity supply corporation Limited (ZESCO).
